I bought 2 inserts for the hydraulic hoses. Got them home and they won't fit. Any idea where I might get the right ones. Yesterdays tractors doesn't even list them. 1948 JD B

Are you talking about quick couplers ?? The originals could have been replaced many times by now . Best bet is to take a sample to the Hyd Store with you . They could be Parker , Aeroquip, Pioneer , many more......

You need to have the original John Deere couplers to fit your Power Trol valve unit. There are two types--ones without a tapped hole(or blind ones) for use with your rockshaft, and ones with a 1/2 NPT tapped hole for use with a remote cylinder. You can put any type of femal quick coupler you want into the 1/2 NPT hole and use a mating male on your hoses. This is the set-up I use on mine.

Whatever brand is on the tractor...virtually
every manufacturer makes a conversion model to
fit competitors male or female ends.

I need the ones for the remote cyclinder. T here are 2 kinds. I with a hole from the end and one with the holein the side. I need the ons from the side.
