IF you can keep this going, I will come again.

Pretty much has been said about too many golf carts/UTV/ATV's.

Excellent show!

Hey Kruser, you mean like how they announced at the Golf cart show in Rantoul that a few tractors showed up as well!
Saw your other post down on Tales starring your's truely, get you back when I get home, these motel hotspots aren't very good.

I saw a gentleman with an professional oversized camcorder get hit by a low hanging auger off an auger wagon. I yelled; he heard it; but said he didnt think it was at him. I told him later I would have expected to get hit by a golf cart instead of a wagon!

I wasn't at Half Century of Progress, but they were bad enough at Portland, Indiana. I don't see the point of cruising through the swap meet area at 10 mph, you can't see what's for sale. I don't mind if the elderly use them, that's the only way they can make it through everything without being exhausted.

Portland is ridiculus. There is so much golf cart/atv congestion you can hardly walk around. But I can get around a lot faster walking there is so much congestion of parked golf carts that they arehardly moving most of the time and compared to the area at Rantoul, why do 90% of the people even need them at Portland? Pure laziness in most cases in my opinion. But at 20 bucks or whatever a pop it is a revenue source to register them so I don't see them going away.I went to Rantoul in 09 and this year. Probably walked well over 10 miles easy, got pretty wore out missed parts of show.I agree there are too many carts and congestion, but a necessary evil given the expanse of the facility. Maybe if they could vastly increase theamount of wagon rides they could cut down on carts/atvs. Bottom line for every show is the need to make enough money to keep having it.

The golf carts and a better defined schedule. We had no interest in the Kinze show but were interested in the plowing. No one could tell us when or where it would be. We were always referred to the Kinze plow show. When we were at the gate to leave we found out when and where they were going to plow. Instead of the schedule saying field demonstartions why not put in there 9AM Corn picking field 7 etc.
