Case 430 Transmission Problem

Hi I was hoping someone could help me. I was driving in road gear and the rear end locked up. Now It will not move in forward reverse works fine and in will roll forward when its not any gear. Any ideas?

Does it have the hi and low ahead of the transmission? If so I would guess that the sliding gear on it is frozen to the shaft. No lube or water in the oil???

Yes it has the hi lo shifter but all of that seems to be free in there. It was a little low on fulid but not bad. Could there be a gear farther ahead of the hi lo shifter that could be stuck? i cant find any diagrams for the transmission to see whats all up there.

I took the cover off for the reverse and hi lo as well as the one behind it and seen nothing stuck or broken. I just dont know where to go next..

I see theres another cover in front of the forward reverse shifter which would be under the gas tank. Could there be something in there? Like I said it works fine in reverse. I went through every gear in hi and lo and they all work good but as soon as you try to put iit in forward it wont move at at. If i push the clutch in and let it start to roll forward as soon as you it in forward and start to let the clutch out it stops you right now.

The area in front of the hi and lo under the fuel tank is your hydraulic pump and resevor, If you have live PTO, there's a shaft that runs from your fly wheel thought the clutch all the way back to the rear of the tractor. I can't think of any thing that could have you hung up.
Are you saying that it will go backwards in both hi and lo? and that it will roll forward in gear with the clutch disengaged? Send me your phone number.
