Muncie hydraulic pump ID

Just picked up an older truck with a muncie engine mounted pump.

It has 1 suction line, and 3 pressue lines. Is there an ID plate somewhere on the pump?

Combed through muncies webpage real quick, didn't find a pump that looked the same as mine.

Does the pump say on it Muncie??? I have never heard of or seen a muncie hyd pump. I have seen there transmissions but all the pumps I have seen on there where other brands like Prince etc

Good question. I assume its a muncie pump. The switch in the cab for the electric clutch says muncie power products.

But, on the pump under the hood, there is not an ID plate that I can find.

Muncie makes Transmissions and PTO's The pump is not going to be made by them....Pix ?

They put muncie p/n on but most are commercial/shearing and some being vickers. Now all owned by Parker.

why not? My manure truck has a 40 gpm hyd pump that runs directly off the crankshaft. That pump is a muncie.

I assume by your statement that it has a switch inside the cab and that your unit is a belt driven electric clutch unit.We used Muncie units on Tow truck applications before hotshift pto's for automatic transmisssion beacame common.I have never heard of the 3 pressure lines myself (which means nothing)I would suggest to find the nearest Muncie dealer or distribotur and send a photo and ask for their help.I am from Ontario Canada and we have a pretty good distriubutor here called Drive Products i Missasauga Ont.If I can help let me know.Ron
