the carb on my wd leaks gas out of the air cleaner hose. the carbs a zenith. Does anybody know what may be wrong? I was thinking that the float may be sticking but when i took it apart the float seemed to be just fine.

I assume this is occurring whilst the tractor is shut off? If so I would say that either your float is bad, sticking, or your needle and seat are not longer sealing properly. Sam

The needle and seat are worn out. the needle then has a wide area to hold against the fuel to stop it. The slightest bit of junk in the seat/needle area will make it flod. even just the wear, and it needle getting a bit crooked can make it leak. Replace the pair. Always turn off the fuel at the tank when stopped, the gravity is like having a low powered fuel pump on all the time. It can drain the tank onto your floor, or into the engine, (also very bad.)
