13.6-38 tire prices??????

Checked on a set of 13.6-38 6 ply rears today.Firestone, $1398 plus $164 for 2 tubes. Thats cash and carry! I havnt bought new tires for about 3 years,but WOW! Is this about the same prices as in your area?? Doug from Northern Indiana

I have a set that is 100% tread, one still have the sticker on. 700.00 for the pair. I'm in maryland if you can pick them up. ED

Check Ebay. Several reputable dealers have tires substantially cheaper than that delivered. I been buying BKT tires out of India and so far no negative issues. Very durable.
I pd more for some Firestone tires thinking that they had to be better, also trying to keep my money in this country. They are not!! Softer rubber and easier to damage. Seems American companies are lowering quality to compete.

Pomp's tire sold me a set of American Farmer tires for $1150 no tubes look very good

Try and look at AUKERET MAX TRAC. I can get you these for about 475 a tire and tubes are about 50 a tube. These are a FIRESTONE carbon copy only better as they are 8 ply. I am in the Ann Arbor Mi area.
