missing serial tag

Is it worth it to restore a tractor without a tag? Could you still find out info from a stamped tag? Its a JD 60. Would people buy a tractor without a tag once restored? Thanks

Some would. It all depends on what they are going to do with it. If they are going to just toodle around they probably don't care. If they are nutty collectors then they might.

Don't think it would matter on a 60.That's not a real collectable tractor,unless you have a high crop or something.
