JCB skidloaders

looking at a JCB 300 skidloader. currently have a S650 Bobcat. i like the side entry on the JCB it beats the hell out of climbing over the bucket to get into the cab. but im worried about lifting capacity and the single boom lift. if anyone has heard anything about this as in problems or anything please let me know

JCB makes a good product. While not a skidsteer my cousin runs a jcb tellhandler everyday loading brick and block. He likes the extendable boom to load flatbed trucks from only one side. Also uses it to load large square bales alfalfa. Its about 10 years old and he has not had anything major wrong with it.

The farm has a side entry JCB. Mod# escapes me. picks up and moves 2000# round hay bales with no problem. Extra options; removable winter windows, useless heater, extra under belly weight plate and extra heavy weighting tailgate. Attachments include custom hay forks, material bucket, brush grinder (flail), snow blower, & pallet forks.
Handicappers here is easy in and out. 10yrs old used daily have had no trouble. Arm's guaranteed free replacement regardless age or owner for life machine. Have had no trouble. Only gripe the seat cushion is near destroyed after 10yrs use. Could use a new seat.

Check out this article. It may help. Operators from the local 150 in Chicago put the JCB skid steer to the test- you can read what they had to say if you search in google "Construction Equipment Magazine- JCB skid steer top operators"

Why buy from England? > (notice I did not refer to them as "Great Britan")

they supply all the fuel for Airforce One.. they have too many cameras in public places, and not only that, but with a loudspeaker they tell you what you are doing wrong while you are there in the public places, but you cannot see them but you can sure hear them!!

they have not paid the WW 2 war debt to the USA > (only Finland has) so why should we "patronize them" ?

oh and btw, BP > British Petrolum, also goes by the name of "Beyoned Petrolum"

Just a suggestion, why not buy someting made in America?

While I dont have any experiance with them, I used to work with a guy who worked at a case dealer that sold them, and he always maintained that JCB stood for "Junk Coming from Britain" I know I always hated working on british cars!
