Question on new mahindra tractors do you like em

Lots of dealers went out of them. I am looking at a 6500 series 4wd. Are they any good any short commings?

Seem well built. Mahindra has been around a long time. International & Navistar & Mahindra have had joint plants, etc for quite a while. The 6000 series has the 195 engine - looks like the Case-IH Farmall series has the same 195, some turboed.

I had a cub cadet compact that was made by them and it was a good machine. Filters were kinda pricy and VERY hard to find a cross referance for.

Neighbor has one and he seems to like it. He bought it new 3 years ago and hasn't had any problems with it. Came down to finish cutting a field for me the other night after a breakdown. Really liked the sound of the tractor, not that it means anything.

i bought a second hand '02 Mahindra 6000 2wd with 147 hours on it back in early '07...i have worked it like a red headed step child ever since...only thing i wish it had is a reverser...other than that i love it.

I have an E-350 Di 03 Model... I LOVE it! Bought it in 06' with 50Hrs on it use it mostly for bushoging, and a little Small garden Work... Couldn't ask for better just My $1.99 cents Worth.. Larry KF4LKU
