MM engines

My son in law lives in Texas and keeps the irrigation pumps running. They are Minneapolis Moline in line 6 cyl. He cant find any manuals on them,Anyone have any ideas on where he can find one? He dont know the model number or much else about them,Thanks
 
Manuals are pretty common on Ebay, etc. Pretty much gotta have a model number, though. Get us one, and I'll bet we can google you one up.
 
Thanks,I will tell him to look harder for the numbers. They havent been new in quite a while. He said he looked for numbers but didnt find any. Hes near Delhart,Tx
 
I"m assumeing these are older MM engines? If so the MM G704 and the MMG1000 both used 6 cyl engines.Other newer model MM tractors used 6 cyl. engines also, I"m guessing those pump engines are from the G1000 era. if so a search for G1000 engine manuals may proove fruitful.IMO JH
 
Tell him to try Smokstack . om the internet. most of the time some will have them in PDF and you can down load for free.
 
There should be a tag on the engine (right side from the clutch I think). More than likely it is either a 504 or 605....possible a 800 but doubtful.
 

If he"s in the better water near Dalhart, they will most likely be HD-800s. There are also some old style 800"s also still in use.

If he is in weaker water, they might be 605s or 504s.

Keep an eye out on ebay for the manuals.

Tell him there is a fellow in Dimmitt, TX that still works on them. Not sure of the name but Dimmitt is a small town anyone will know who the man is.
 
I was hoping to get more feedback on this forum. Hes driving a rig early mornings and working on pumps keeping them going all afternoon. He is at work at 6 in the morning and usually after 8 at night before hes done,sometimes longer. He dont have a lot of free time. I got a lot of info to give him thanks to all that responded. You all have been a lot of help. Bob
