Neighbor kid went on vacation today....

Looked like a Gypsy caravan.... He's driving to Romania for two weeks for vacation, but he's driving his nissan 4x4, pulling a trailer with his VW hippy bus, and has his quad strapped in the back of the truck. Bus has several heads and a couple motors loaded in also.
While he's there, the pickup and van will be completely worked over (body) and painted for 500 bucks each. Heads will be redone and engines will be rebuilt. All while he rides the quad around sightseeing...... Just hope he don't bring back a wife that'll distract him from all the good work he does......

He's redoing a 423 that I believe he is going to trade me for mine. That's one of the heads he has with him. He already put new cylinder kits and new rod/main bearings, clutch, oil pump, and a couple other things on the 423 just needs the head redone.
He wants my 326 because he has one that is only a number or so off on the serial number from mine... Wants it so him and his dad can both zoom around to the oldtimer meetings.... Won't know what his plans are til he gets back tho...

How far are from Nordhorn? Supposed to a big deal their this weekend..

Geez, gonna be difficult on you with him gone to Romania. Well here 'ya go buddy, these 3 things should hold you over 'till he returns!

Interesting. We used to have Romanian body men come around in the summer in Michigan, offering to do bondo work on cars cheap. They were gypsies, driving a big step van around in the summer, wintering down south.
 
If it looked like a Gypsy caravan then he is going to the right country.
There was an organised group of them out here ,gyping people then hopping on the plane,exiting . one step in front of the law, although some were not as quick.credit card scams and that kind of thing.
