I thought this was a pretty funny but unfortunate story. Apparently this guy was picked in the NFL draft but wasnt allowed to play cause of the lockout. Whats he do...like any NFL draft pick he hops on his John Deere and starts cutting grass until the lockout ends.

I think it's pretty cool that he wasn't too good to mow lawns till the lockout was over.

Yeah it's pretty interesting what happens during some of these lockouts. I remember when the lockout was first happening some past players on Sportscenter were talking about how they had to go sale cars during previous lockouts. Others were talking about doing your common jobs...waiting tables, selling door to door, etc

THat's a pretty good "human interest" story. Can't you just see that little drill sargeant "bossing" that big guy around? At least he got off his duff and DID something! I don't think that seat on his tractor was built for 300 pounds though.

Appears to show a good work ethic, be it professional sports or cutting grass, sets a good example, which he should always be doing as an athelete, pro or not... so many kids today need to develop this kind of discipline and attitude towards working and succeeding in their endeavors, as opposed to the alternative, which we so humbly see discussed on YT Mag. All dads should have been a D.I. if that is what it takes !!! The Great Santini lives on sports fans !!! LOL !!!
