Pictures of the tractor parade, Lynden WA, Aug. 4

That's a great show- have gone several times in the past, but not for 5 years or so. Its a 3 hour drive each way.

Yeah... makes a day of it if you have to get up super early, and then drive home tired at the end of the day. I went to Chehalis yesterday for the Antique Truck Historical Society show at the fairgrounds. I got up at 5:30, left just after six and got back at 10 PM. I love the drive. I took 405 to 167, then down 507. On the way back I took 12 up to the Ranch House BBQ on 8. After the ribs I took the 101 up to Port Townsend. I lucked into the Ferry and drove up Whidbey Island and back roads through Bow to I-5. It was about a 500 mile day.

I have included a link to the truck pics. I didn't take a lot of the semi trucks, mostly light trucks and flat beds.

I'm all of 15 minutes from the fairgrounds where the truck show was held, and didn't make it! Got involved in a "project" and it slipped by completely.

You surely did take the "scenic route", which added a couple of hours- but I tend to do the same thing. Or more probably, take the backroads on the way to the event, but then bomb on home on the freeway in the dark of night.
