Started to rain here around 4:30 am. I know because I was up baby sitting my AC unit which froze up 4 times from 10PM to 4:30 AM. Still have a little coming down and it is almost 11am now. Checked the rain gauge and it says just a tad over 1.25 inches of much needed rain. Bad thing is I had the soaker hose in the garden all night so some area may have gotten to much water. Looked out in the field and saw 3 or 4 deer out there enjoying the cooler weather and eating so of my hay. LOL Oh well I will feed them now and they will feed me later I hope

I hope it rains south of Fulton. I put out a couple acres of turnips, forage radishes, and some rape a week ago yesterday that needs rain to grow. I imagine the urea is gone, but I put a bunch of 20-1--10 that should still be there.

Around a inch here SW Missouri(Greenfield, between Joplin and Springfield) Started early morning, lots of thunder and lightning, mostly hard rain with some wind. Around 4 there was a lot of dry lightning, lots of flashing, no thunder or rain. Maybe this will help prime the pump.

Not in the front yard but I do still have it out there. Put it back in the junk yard area to keep it out of site. but yep still have it

I thought we might get some this morning based on the size of the storm, but it just fizzled south of St. Louis. I felt a raindrop around lunch.

In south central MO we got a decent storm this morning. Perhaps a quarter inch. I just sat in the breezeway of my workshop and enjoyed the COOL wind. Cloudy until early afternoon. In town around noontime it was still just 78 degrees. However when the sun finally came out the temperature jumped quickly and it got really muggy. Still, very pleasant for at least part of the day.

I'll just butt in here with you Misssourians and say that last nite we got 1/2" here just south of Wickenburg Arizona.Last measureable rain we got was in May 2011 and before that last fall 2010 some time.No big deal except this is the Desert area of the state.

Old, Coming from Camdenton take Houston Rd. go west about 8/10 of a mile and I"m on the right. Houston road is at the big propane tank. Mike

Ah so just north of the nursery or that tank that sits there sort of looking like a rocket right??????????? Guess next time I go down to Lebanon to get feed I'll have to stop by but 8/10 of a mile is hard to do the speedo in my truck has not worked in so long I can not remember when it did work. By the way my e-mail is always open

North of Joplin, we got two tenths. When the sun came out about noon the temp rose to 102, and the humidity shot up to about 170 percent! Well, maybe only 60 percent. Mark
