have you read my last answer to your post from yesterday bout sending the hydrant in two boxs? another thing if you or someone else is going to cut the stem in 1/2 and then thread the ends to put it back together then you should used a sucker rod coulper, all it is a nut but it's bout 2" long with bout a 1" of threads in each end can get them with 3/8, 1/2" 7/16. threads don't cost much round here.

Gonna have my buddy go measure one and see if it can be shipped as/is, if not, I'll either take Brad up on his offer or spring for one here..
