O/T 98 Chevy Venture 6 way seat adjust

6 Way adjustor doesn't work. I measure 8.5 VDC at connector under the seat. Circuit breaker is good - to be sure I swapped a known good one with it and no change. 12VDC at circuit breaker.
Schematic shows a splice between circuit breaker and the underseat connector. Haven't checked that splice. Could it have built up a resistance to drop some voltage? There also is a multi-pin connector in the path which I haven't investigated - maybe that has some corrosion. Anyone have other ideas to try?
 
I think you answered your own question.Yes you probably have high resistance in the splice. 8.5 volts would be enough to activate the motors IF you had the proper current,but you don't.

Don't know where you're from,but here in MN,snow and salt get dragged in and melt causing wire corrosion problems under the carpet at driver and passenger's feet.Affected vehicles are Montana,Venture,Sillhouette vans.
