Farmall Collection

Was wondering how to get values on some tractors I have in my shed. Farmalls- straight M, Super M with mounted two row corn picker, Super MTA, 400, and 706. My husband passed away and was just wondering what they were all worth. Am considering selling some of them.

You could ask on the Farmall forum. There are also for sale ads on this site that you could research yourself. Some are photo ads so you can compare ones that look of similar quality. The Super MTA is probably the most valuable, so don't let anyone rip you off.

Location, running and overall looks. Paint don't really matter too much but they bring more if the tin work is str8.

M will bring 100 - 1500, depnding on location and tires, SM about the same, maybe even less if the picker is attached. (I know that sopund strange, but some people just wouldnt want to take the thing off.) Alone, Ive seen the pickers sell for a grand, if complete. MTA maybe around 2000 - 2500, same for the 400. The 706 could bring 2500 - 6000 depending on hours and tires. I base this on some prices in my area, others will be different, and if they run or not.

Location is a huge factor. And no one will short you on this board. Pictures always help. If you get the chance post a couple pictures of each and that will give everyone a better Idea of what shape and how much its worth. And if you scroll down on the discussion forum, you will see a Farmall Forum. Lot of people there can help.

Where are you located? You might have someone stop in and take a look at them.

Do you know what dealership your husband used? If they are anything at all they would be happy to place a value on items for you and maybe even help sell them for you.
