Fusion paint??

Hey folks, (posted on paint and body work also)
Painted my quad with some camo paint last year and it looks a little rough now. Just saw some fusion technology paint (we have limited access here). Will it stick to the old paint as well as the plastic?? Not looking for a beautiful job, just presentable and lasting and will be using camo paint again. Is just a good washing/scrubbing with a scotch pad good enough prep?

Here is what Krylon say's
When working with plastic
For old plastic, use an ammonia-based cleaner and
wipe down to clean surface. If the plastic is new,
wipe down with paint thinner for best results.
Lightly sand glossy surface if previously painted
and remove dust with a tack cloth. When dry, apply
Krylon® Fusion for Plastic according to the
directions on the can. Rick

Fusion will work over old paint. Does a good job on plastic and most every thing. Henry
