From my mistakes...

Gave the quad a going over when I first got it and every month or so. For wheel bearings, I had this picture of cone bearings so just shook the wheels and left them if no wobble. Was pulling the harrow yesterday and something felt funny then no pully pully GI...... Looked and only one wheel was pulling. Anyway, long story short, neighbor kid to the rescue. The nut that I thought was just a bearing adjusting nut that just needed to be snug actually held a taoered splined shaft/hub together. Had been loose and slipping a little and just slipped a lot to the point of no wore teeth. Pushed everything back together the way it belonged and welded it together. Will last til the rest of the quad is shot I'm sure. Again.... I's a little smarter now....

He's a real life McGyver...

He don't have a wife or girlfriend so I think I need to get him drunk and tattoo "I'm Gay" across his forehead to keep him single

They moved up here from Southern Bavaria and south is south no matter what country you're in I guess........... Just all around good folks

I think you would make a good sit com. German version of Green Acres. You would have to chose who was going to be your Eddie Albert. LMAO.

Never thought of..Been so long since I saw any of them shows........ we've got some characters...... Before hitler started screwing around there was a jewish church and cemetery about a mile away. Old guy a couple house down was just a kid at the time and not too bright (still ain't) went and burned the church, barn, buggy, and killed the horses then went and tore up a bunch of graves.......... Guess he saw the light and now keeps the graveyard presentable and gives tours a couple times a year......... Some good folks and some real freaks............. but interesting.
