RAIN here in North east Iowa!!!

Between Thursday night and last night I have had 3.7 inch of rain here. Just over at Dyersville they had 5 inch plus inches. The rain did not wash things very much around me. It was a money maker here as the corn is mostly tasseling. This will go a long way toward finishing the corn crop.

I just finished second crop hay. I cleaned my yards of manure. So this rain was perfect. The temperatures are forecast to be lower this coming week.
 
We live halfway between the Quad cities and Chicago right along interstate 80 and as of 5:30am sunday have not received any rain thus far and only about 0.4 tenths the last 5 weeks. Hvae been praying for rian the last 10 days.
 
We have gotten about 7 inches of rain in the last three days in East Central Iowa. It was badly needed, as the corn was tasseling. The bad part is we got a LOT of wind and quite a bit of the corn is down.
