M W Piston kits?

What ever happened to M&W? Did they sell out to someone else or just go out of business? Think they offered pistons with a higher compression ratio than original. Comp. ratio on some older tractors is less than 7:1. Would like to increase mine up to 8:1 or so. Easiest way to increase power. Older tractios were grossly overbuilt in the bottom end and can handle a little more compression.
Thanks,
Bill.

M&W still exists, but they are now a small part of a much larger global company that builds wagons, hay rakes, and such.

M & W built other performance enhancement products for older tractors as well, e.g., turbo kits.

Most likely they exited the tractor performance enhancement business decades ago as tractors became increasingly more powerful rendering the early models obsolete for commercial farming, resulting in non profitable, low volumes of the performance enhancement products.

That said, it is conceivable that M & W design specifications still exist at the parent company.

If so, and given modern modern CNC manufacturing processes, a potentially viable business model exists for such low volume performance enhancement parts such as high compression/overbore pistons.

Anyone from M & W/parent company listening?

"powr seal" is the name of the old M/W piston kits now. Not many sets listed any more. M/W sold it off many years ago.

They made lots of accessories for the ole farmalls. Turbos, hand clutches, clutch pedal assists, pistons, power steering, live power pumps, etc.

Once knew of a Super M that the guy claimed to have all available M&W mods done to it. Had a Hi-T kit, 2 way live hydraulic, governor kit, 9 speed transmission with live PTO, oil pan and radiator and likely others I have forgotten. Very strong tractor and ran for many years like that.
