I do think it is not getting any Gas . The tank is full because I was there when Bill filled it .I have given the regulator a serveral whacks ,.. and No Differrence and no improvement , Do YA ' Think I need a Bigger HAMMER ?

Dissasemble all lines and burners and check for obstructions, spider webs, wasp nest, etc.

Good Luck

Could it possibly be that gas pressure is low due to cold temperatures? Sounds like you're not getting proper pressure and flow thru regulator. I had a gas refrigerator that wouldn't work properly in our camper. Could remove it, and set up temporarily in workshop would run fine. Finally replaced regulator and works OK>

I use my charbroil gas grill quite frequently in sub zero temps with no issues. And yes it sits outside on the deck 24/7 if you are wondering.

That is why propane took over the butane....propane still has far more than the regulator output pressure even at 30 below zero, whereas butane went to zero pressure at about 32F.

Propane boils down to about -40F, you have a bad regulator or moisture in the system. In MN we grill down to about -20 if there's no wind, colder than that the grill won't heat up.

Mine did that with a new refilled tank. I shut the gas off on the tank, then open the burner valve, then close all the burner valves and then turn the tank on real slow.

Close all the burner valves with the tank valve open, then close the tank valve. Barely crack the tank valve, then re-open the tank valve slowly. Open the burner valves, should work just fine.

New tanks have a leak protection valve that will limit or stop gas flow if it flows too fast when you first open the tank. If you leave some pressure in the tube to the burner and close the tank valve, the flow limiter (or whatever they're called) won't see a surge of gas when you open the tank valve.

Someone bought me a gas grill years ago. Used it a few times and been meaning to toss it cause it takes up space. I've got 3 Webers I use all year around, and all 3 get fired up on Thanksgiving. Stuffed bird in the largest, 6 drumsticks in one that have soaked a good day and night in a mixture of Jack Daniels black, Jaggermeister, cherry preservatives, Tobasco, and Stubbs barbe sauce, and the third for warming cider, baking sweet potatos and roasting corn. Sure do love my Webers, all year round.

Good luck.

guess 3 of them burn a lot of propane, huh?

You won't find (deleted by admin, suspect brand promotion) using gas or electric heated pits cause you simply won't get the true flavor that us Texans know and love.
