Just a note of thanks to Kim for letting the "Vietnam Vets" thread run it's course. I guess she can see there are a lot of us here. and is giving us due respect. Thanks Kim!

There are a lot of powerful thoughts, words, deeds and emotions in that thread. I appreciate how many came forth even though the memories can be very painful to share. I feel honored to have the opportunity to listen.

I think this is the most poignant message I've seen on this forum in 5 years. You should jump in more often. I don't think you should recuse yourself from replying because you are the moderator. I like your style.
I planted some sorgham today in a food plot with the Farmall 95. ( at 0730 hrs)

Thank you, GordoSD... I am tasked with the responsibility of maintaining civility in the forums and don't feel welcome to speak my mind because of hostility I've received. I've been accused of many things that are way off base... but honestly I'm just a very caring person who feels like everyone's Mother and friend and I'm trying to keep communications in the forum amicable and respectful between people who came here primarily out of preserving old tractors, the past, and the ways of our Grandfathers & Grandmothers.

Born and raised on a farm, my heritage comes from the badlands in North Dakota, the copper mines in Montana and the wheat fields in Eastern Washington. I care deeply about everyone here but I know my emotions (as a woman) are not welcome by most.

Thanks again for your comments!
Kim
