Here is a video of me raking hay with the old Farmall M. Awful hot here in mid Missouri! Everybody be careful and drink some H2O.

my grandpa on my moms side had a super m and a m that he farmed with.when i was growing up i was always just amazed watching those two tractors at work.grandpa has been gone for almost 30 yrs but the two tractors are still setting in the same shed where he left them and my uncles still use them everyday doing the same choirs that he did with them
thanks for the video it brings back a tearfull memory but a good one.

Back in the 60s there were 2 brothers farmed 400 acres with an 806 and 2-Ms and a super M. They had a 4 row front mount cult on the super and one of the straight Ms. They would go past our place to cultivate a farm down the road. they always traveled together with them Ms and would run them about half throttle on the road. What a sweet sound to hear them going home about dusk.

I still have the 4 row cultivator for this tractor. Starting to get trees growing up through it. I don't know if I could get it mounted again. It's been 30 years since I used it!

When I was a kid,Dad used to 'regale' me with stories of the mighty M!He thought the M was the greatest tractor ever!I tend to agree.BTW-I have 2 of them.

We had a Super W6 and most of the neighbors had at least one M when I was a kid. Many fond memories.

I am sure when Dad went from mules and a Farmall B to an M, he thought he was a pretty big farmer!
