nuffield 30-35 hp

Does a Nuffield 30-35 hp tractor have hydraulics and a pto in the back that can run a New Holland hay bine and a New Holland 68 baler?

Nuffields should have both a pto (540 only usually) and hydraulics (just single acting one spool), although you might find one with out either... they were "options" but i think nearly all had them.

Not sure which model your talking about, they made a "mini" which was 25 or so hp (with both 540 and 1000pto) the next model up was a 3 cylinder engined model about 45hp, then a 4 cylinder engine model about 60hp.

it might be the 45 then, dad found it and is thinking of getting it because our ih 584 needs the engine rebuilt and our hay is about ready to turn into straw if it hasnt already.

On the 4/65, which was the last series before they turned into leylands, cannot run the PTO and hydraulics at the same time effectively. There is a clutch handle that you pull and then another handle that allows you to select PTO, hydraulics, and "out", which I'm not quite sure of it's function. If the last series of Nuffields had this, my guess would be that older ones had this as well.
