c135 gas motor - H?

Can a C 135 industrial motor fit in a Farmall H with little mods? I know they go fit in a 340, which if I"m correct replaced the 300 series who replaced the H? That has nothing to do with it probably because replacements arent always alike. Any input on if the two blocks and mounting brackets and etc. I woukd appreciate. thanks.

I'm not sure about that specific engine, however the H line went H-SH-300-350-460 and I think the 340 was smaller than any of them and didn't come out till around the time of the 460. I would guess the engine you are talking about might have a similar or higher HP rating than the stock H engine but it would have less lugging power so it would not feel as strong.

Totally different kettle of fish. Apparently there were several versions of block for the C-135 and unless you happen to find one out of a 330 then you'd be out of luck. The C-135 has more in common with the Super A/Super C sized tractors than the H. Sam

C135? Different block family from H. C135 started as F12/14 at about 113 inch, went to 125 at super A, C. The 340 was sort of step up of 240 derived from 140 which came from 100 which was renumbered of A series-- or something like that. Doen"t mean it might not be made to fit- just not cheap direct swap. Ok thanks guys, the only reason to this is my friend has a c135 industrial motor and thought it to may be fit in an H so I figured I'd ask the experts first
