Gonna have plenty of em! Went by a field today that had pumpkin plants that were a little bigger than those. Seems hard to believe it's almost pumpkin season.

Looks like fun! You have a nice pond nearby... ever try irrigating your patch from that? I've done that in years past with a 3hp. transfer pump, pumping from a pond into a long length of solid plastic field tile that I made holes in where necessary, worked good.

thats a good idea, this is the first time I planted that patch in pumpkins, that is actually my neighbors land and pond, that is where Iplanted the turnip patch for his grandmother last year, This year he was going to plant sweetcorn there, but didnt ,and said to me you can plant whatever you want there,so I tried some pumpkins and saved some of the patch for turnips, but not as many as last year,I overdid the turnips last year, there were way too many, I will plant a strip of turnips in that patch around aug 6 If it was my pond I would probably try your irrigation idea, its a good idea, thanks
