On the way to work this morning I saw a doe standing in a field with 3 fawns. Have seen many twins, but this is the first time I've ever saw triplets. And the way they ran off when I stopped, I'd say they were healthy.

Depends on how hard the winter was, and how much and what quality of food they had. A few years ago when we had several mild winters, I'd see two or three sets of triplets and most all the others would be twins. This year, after a long, cold winter with fairly deep snow, I haven't seen any triplets and only two sets of twins; all the rest have been singles.
