I have a bees nest under my deck. Not sure what kind ,but they are those small aggressive little suckers.Had a huge nest same spot couple of years ago.Went out there middle of cool night with spot light and crawled under deck and blasted them with spray, problem solved.Well now I cant find the nest with spot light, but they are there. Is there some kind of bomb(smoke) or something I can toss under there?Or any other suggestions.

Thanks
Stan

Well number one learn for sure what they are. I'll bet you they are not a Bee or even in the Bee family They are most likely one of the common wasps like the yellow jack or the red or black wasp. Sorry but I hate it when a wasp gets called a Bee since with out bees we would be in real trouble. That said throw some moth balls under your deck or hang a net bag with them under there if you can do so safely. There are also some bug bombs you could throw under there that would do the trick but as I said find out what they are before you try to kill them off

a friend of mine makes yellojacket traps out of mountain dew bottles he cuts the top off where it is at the widest point so the top looks like a funnel, then turn the top upside down and stick it back on,leave some soda in the bottem to attract them they cant find their way out and drown

Brake cleaner in a spray can will kill them instantly on contact, if you can find the wasps.
There is also that spray can stuff that shoots 20 feet. Using a garden hose to spray the nest down will work too.
If all those suggestions dont work then call an exterminator.

Likely Yellow Jackets. Read that a good method to catch/kill them is to hang a piece of meat on a string using a supporting rod across a five gallon bucket approx half/two-thirds down. Fill the bottom 1/4 or 1/3 with water and Dawn dish washing soap. The bees fly in to the meat and get heavy enough they can't fly out and then drown.

If they go in a hole in the ground they are probably yellow jackets. We have a lot of them here in N. Ga., very aggressive . Wait till almost dark and use some wasp spray that shoots 20 ft. I have also used about 2 ounces of gas poured into the hole, game over. There may be a few strays in the morning but they will go away.
