OT 55 Buick Roadmaster restoration question

My Father who has 7 tractors also has a 55 Roadmaster that he is restoring. He needs the reveal molding clips for the back window.

These were only used on the 55-56 Roadmasters and Supers, so are harder to find.

Can anybody point us in the right direction? We've googled like crazy but haven't had much luck so far so I'm hoping somebody here can help.

Thanks

on the speed channels, the are always showing companies that have reproduction stuff for old cars/trucks. speedway, lmc, Whitney's, more that i can't think of, others might know. even find out where a local Buick car club and ask them. good luck. ..also did you try c-list, put in wanted items, or wtb in the auto section.

I restored a 58 Chevy yeoman wagon when I was a younger fella. I was missing some clips to hold the chrome, looked and looked before the internet and couldn't find. ended up making some with a little patience and ingenuity. took me a few days and a little trial and error with some light gauge spring steel. the guy that I sold it to 20 years ago still has it and the trim is still holding. hope you find some, but there is always an option.

Try Shanks Salvage in Mitchell, SD. They have a ton of old 50's cars. Been written up in a lot of pubs, including the WSJ.

Thanks, but no joy so far. Hemmings is looked through everytime one comes out. Called all the places and nobody has them.
