Well does anyone got away to keep the mice out of your truck, car and equipment. The little pest are taking over and moving into everything. What is the best way to chance them off? Thanks guys BlaineF (WA)

I was told ground-up moth balls deters them . I know the pests can be very destructive on wiring . Lost 2 new wiring harnesses on my show tractor project . God bless

Irish spring soap in your truck, or moth balls.

Or buy a couple garden snakes and have them take up camp.

I almost never have any problems with mice or rats or even moles unless I park something out at the end of my field but maybe it has to do with the fact I have a lot of barn cats

We have lots of barn cats, too. They really keep the rats and mice down. They catch those big ole pack rats 'bout as big as they are, too. Good to have around.

Hey Blaine! What's your address? He is already in the box, I hope there are enough air holes, and back off when you open it, his claws are sharp.

I throw a packet of Jaguar brand mouse food under the seat, and scattered around the sheds(up high enough to keep the dogs out of it.)

(quoted from post at 22:47:29 07/04/11) Park in a puddle.

A cat or a Mini Schnauzer. My schnauzer will out catch a cat.

Yup!!!!!!!!! I've seen some rat terriers who were excellent hunters.

Irish Spring worked good the first year in my combine cab, but the mice ate the bars the second year. Cab still smelled good!

It is a real shame that we can't get the word out once and for all that mice do not like the smell of peppermint.

Scatter droplets of peppermint oil or extract throughout the vehicle and renew from time to time. Also apply to combine and tractor cabs, cars, trucks, buildings, etc.

Yes, peppermint works wonderfully.

Mothballs work pretty good for me. I put them in the grain drill & combine. Once they establish themselves in a machine a good dousing with bleach may destroy their urine trails and prevent further visits.

Try Yarrow plants,I picked some wild Yarrow and put in grain truck, combine, pickups, and even in grain bin doors where they were nesting, they moved on and havent been back.

I"ve been reading the latest issue of "GRIT"
magazine, and, toward the back, saw two different
ads for products to keep mice out of vehicles!
