Looking for information anyone can give me.
I have a dearborn front mount cultivator and some misc tractor parts which included a plate with model # 19-55 serial # 1382. (not sure if it goes with the cultivator) trying to find out what type of tractor this cultivator would go on.
 
Dearborn was the name Ford put on their implements, so I assume it is for a Ford, probably N series. Didn't know they made cultivators for them- might be worth something to a Ford collector. Might try posting on the Ford N board.
 
Don't have my book handy to see which one it is that you have... Dearborn had two types, one for the N's (also fit later similar sized models), and another for row crops (700, 701, 900, 901, and pre-'65 2000/4000 RC's). I'm thinking a 19-55 is for the row crops.
 
There is some one on the Harry Ferguson forum working with a front- grape? vineyard? cultivator on a TO35, Dearborn fit the 'early' fergies, some of the later MF's too, but I think the name dropped in the late 50's?? Another part of the Ford/ Ferguson love hate thing.... yes, check out Ferguson and Ford forums, some guys on there know all the details

Ford did make 2 row front mount cultivators under the Dearborn name for the 9N, 2N, 8N & NAA tractors, they would also fit the 6XX series and I think also the 8XX series but the Dearborn name ended at the end of 1954 with the end od the NAA and the Ford name was used on all the whar was Dearborn machinery starting with the 1955 models. The row crop versions the cultivators would have carried the Ford name and made in 2 to 6 row sizes.
