a lot of the neighbors were baling hay I did some cultvating ,brushoging, and garden work, it could stand a little rain, but is good for hay making, stole a few red potatoes and picked yellow and green summer squash and took a bunch of random photos I have taken photos of these areas before, but with the wheat ripening and a clear day I took more shots

Wow. Some of my potatoes didn"t even break out yet. That corn has to be the tallest in North America right now, wow again.

Larry...you gonna have to stop posting such beautiful pictures for a while...it's making me wanna get back in the truck for a trip up thru that part of PA., and I'm supposed to be retired!!

stop by sometime and see it working, your not too far away,( just dont drive that van here,I dont know what the neighbors would think of that) lol

Larry those are really nice pictures. I had a sister that lived at Lewisburg,Pa. I was going to go out there and spend time with her when i retired but she passed away 5 years ago. I spent two weeks out there settling her estate. I could see why she loved out there.

I've pondered that question many, many times. Unfortunately, the majority of this nation does not live in the country, and as a result they don't have a lick of common sense nor any concept of how things work or how they ought to work. There are people in the cities whose entire world consists of a two-bedroom apartment four floors up, and five, ten blocks in any direction. A major trip involves a subway ride. All they know is what they see and hear on the TV and the computer, and they are sitting ducks for teh thought-manipulators who ridicule the real values of this country. Glad I'm old.

Great pics! I love the one with the Famall H raking with the N-H rake. That takes me back aobut 55 years when I did the same thing on my uncles's farm but with an M.

Might be allanthus, tree of heaven, too. Them things is noxious weeds, if you have one, you'll have thousands, soon!

they did no till this year, pretty early, and it seems to be working good for them this year , They spray to kill weeds ,then no till, In the begining it looks like hell, then the corn takes off all of a sudden

Too crowded back there. I like it better out here.

Can anyone find the grain bin in the last picture? Hint: it's about 20 miles out, so it's really small.
