Well, fer glory be! That was easy. :>)

Been needin' a hitch for my three-wheeler for a long time now.

While searchin' around for something to make it out of, I stumbled across this extra dual clamp.

Dropped it on the rack and put the open hook end on anything avialable on the implement.

Darned thing works sooooo slick and it took about 1/10 of a second to construct/mount. :>)

Oh, it's coming. Just not much out there.

Darned cheat grass has totally taken over. Too cold of a spring I guess.

I'm knockin' 'er down and hopin that we get lucky and can get another cutting.

Early last fall all the cranberry growers out here got hit with poverty grass too late to put down an herbicide. The nut sedge this year seems to be bad as well due to the wet weeks between the hot humid weeks we have been having this spring. Lots of the hay guys are saying their first cut looked good with an OK yield.

Glad to see you still using the BIG RED, When the in-laws had it they used the heck out of it. Here be Hemingford the corn and things are finally starting to grow with the sun and heat. I was beginning to wonder if we were going to get and warmth this year. funtwohunt

maybe a silly question but how have you locked the front wheel in the straight forward position?

I tried a similar thing with my Honda 4 wheeler and couldn't get the front wheels tied down good enough for them not to get turned all the way right or left.

I'm sure i could have come up with something eventually but it was gonna end up being more work to apply and unapply the tie downs than I was saving by towing it out.

This thing is a trike so it has a lot of positive caster to it. That front wheel follows all the turns just perfectly.

Haven't tried it with the pickup yet, but it tows just great with the tractor in road gear.

Yeah,

I've been kickin' myself ever since I drove out of the yard that day 'cause I did't buy the shoe drill and that big tractor. :>(

Good stuff on that auction.

Been using mine for years now. Simple and can use for holding buckets. Just hook the handle under the pin in clevis. I use a hair pin to hold it up when not in use. I also put a picture of the hitch I made for ball and pin hitch. Just got tired of taking off ball to pull a clevis hitch.
