Hmmm someone might want it but it's probly scrap. By the time you get into the insides to replace the rusted slides and all that good stuff it's probly just not worth it.

Prolly got a buncha rusted nuts........ I'd hate to throw it a way tho...Got a vocational school or highschool close with an AG class, may be neat to give it to them and have them bring it back to life.....

Neighbor has a baler that looks 5 times worse than that, digs it out of the weeds each year, kills the yellowjackets, and bales hay.

We've got one of those we put up 500-600 bales with every year. makes nice bales as long as the knife is kept sharp. It's not a real fast baler. Some of the bushings are no longer available for the plunger, now if you wanted to sell for parts I might be interested

I'd try it on Craigslist if I were you, for a little over scrap price or whatever you feel you need to get out of it.

Yeah it's for sale. Glad I said it worked last time they used it lol. I'm in north west Pa. Mercer county wheres you?

just put an ad on craigslist. someone might want it for parts or something. kinda be a shame to scrap it. i would hate yo waste the parts but it is your dessicion.

I never seen so many guys ready to give up on something. That bailer could be brought back to life with out much trouble. Two, maybe three days at the most.

WELL,
Gots ze rake to go with ze bailer, I sez hook up the 8N and go to town. LOL

Might keep U outa trouble - Now that UB retired!

I agree with oldiron. If it worked when parked it will work now. If you said that just because that's what you say when you advertise something then you are only kidding yourself this time. Spray it down with diesel and turn it over by hand a couple times. Then slop everything up with used motor oil, put the shaft back on, hook up the tractor, put some twine in and go bale hay.

I run a high reach bucket truck for work and I've been doing alot of work around Omaha's new ball park. That happens to have five salvage yards just north of the ball park. You folks would be amazed at what I've seen going to the scrap yard these past few weeks I've had a birds eye view in the backs of trucks and trailers.Kinda makes me sad to see some of the items I've seen getting junked.

No, I wanted to know if it was worth fixing befor it went for scrap, didn't want to scrap it if it was one of the best bailers ever built. now I know, scrap it is. thanks

You can not put a price on the satisfaction of bringing a old piece of equipment back to life.Have a JD 50 and 45 loader a NH 68 baler a JD 1209 swather-mower, Dearborn Spreader and a bale basket all brought back from going to scrap. Working on a JD disc plow at present. They all work when called on.

You would be throwing good money after bad really. Many years ago when I was still a kid we had one of the very few Case 200 balers that came into the country. Now I know why very few came into this country. We ran an IH B.46 at the same time. The IH would run rings around the Case. Not only that, the chamber seemed to be made of a weak or thin steel and apparently it went out of shape very quickly.

They were light duty and slow when new, and definitely a step below NH and JD. I wouldn't bother with it.
