Rear Tire Question

Is there any reason why I can't replace a set of 16.9x30 rear tractor tires with a set of used 420/85-30 MFWD tires? I know where there is a set that I can get reasonable. Thanks guys.

According to a quick internet search, thats a direct replacement for what you have. Should be no problems.

I never tried mfwd tires on the back. There was a thread on here awhile back where someone said that those are too hard and don't make good traction on the back wheels. Maybe you can try them and let all of us know the results. Have a good day.
