I rebuilt a Flathead for my 1933 Ford Truck and thought you might enjoy the start up of it. This was right after I added water to the radiator and was the first run.
I have since built a mobile stant and take it to shows in the back of my truck. People look at it more than my truck and it makes more noise running straight out of the headers.

Can't speak for Soder33 but I put a '65 (?) Mercedes 220 Diesel in my '32 Ford PU truck. Replaced the Model B transmission with a '39 top shifter Ford 3 speed. It shifts nicely with the new-for-'39 synchros. Truck performs better too.

There is another guy in town who did the same thing but used the Mercedes tranny. His truck required some frame and rear end alterations. Oh yeah, I replaced my rear end with a '41 Ford unit. It holds up alot better than the original but looks stock and has juice brakes.
