Well, I have been through your town, on a run from Gunnison to Grand Junction and on into Utah.

Is that the Gunnison River to the north of you? Are you seeing any flooding? I am in Southern Utah and use Lake Powell often in the summer. Runoff from the Rockies are very important to us.
 
use to come out that way to haul sweet corn to the phoinex area.I think it was about august. then the rates dropped and now not worth hauling it.But a nice area.
 
the rivers are at full capacity-there is some flooding-particularly in the GrandJunction area.the high snowpack is still comming down-there is still a lot of water up there.
 
Steve I wish I was able to tke up your offer. Family took a vacation back on early sixties. spent it at a church camp on the east side at Buena Vista.(sp) slway remember going trout fishing with a native and catching enough for the csmp. Two daughters worked at Y of the Rockies at two different times. We always wandered sround the divide taking them out to work.
