What year is it ?

My Ford N says 8N on block no serial number can be found . It has a front mount distributor , 3 speed trans. break adjuster has a square adjuster. I think it is a early 47-8N ,a mix of a 9,2,8N . What do you think ?

if its got a 3 speed, its a 9n or 2n, it well could be sporting a 8n motor, they all innerchange

It could be a mongrel.8n engine on a 9n rear;Common to mix parts,as a lot of them wopuld interchange

Does it have floorboards (8N) or pegs (9 or 2)?

It started out life as a 9N or 2N. Some of the late 2N's had a mix of parts during changeover, we have one. The three speed is a giveaway it was not built as an 8N. Still a good tractor, 1st gear is just a little fast at times.
