OT: Shasta 5th wheel

Need some help please!
I bought a 1999 26ft Shasta 5th wheel camper and I need a wiring diagram, especially for the 12 volt system.
The camper came with a generic owners book, but it doesn't have any electrical in it.
Shasta was bought by Coachmen back in the '90s and I haven't been able to find any information.
Thanks in advance, Mike Shelby

Try RVnet talk forums. They have several different forums you can try asking at. I go there often to get help/advice.

fuse panel may give you a clue ,in the inverter compartment.

What are you trying to track down ?

On the left front corner the camper has two battery boxes and I'm assuming that two 12 volt batteries are used. When we picked up the camper, it only had one battery, and the leads for the second battery were not secured, we found out.
One of the positive leads (10 gage gray) in the second battery box shorted to ground and fried the lead, that is connected to both batteries. Positive leads are 6 ga red, negative are 6 ga white.
I have replaced the 10 ga burnt wires, but I would like to know what they were feeding.
I also discovered a 30 amp automotive fuse in the harness under the coach in the battery box area, but I don't know what it is protecting.
Wire colors affected do not match any of the braking system wire colors.
I tried several RV forums, but didn't get anywhere. I'm hoping someone on here has or had a camper like this and knows where information can be found.

Even the new campers are about impossible to find wiring diagrams for. Somehow, they keep this as a trade secret. I can't get wiring diagrams for my 2010 Heartland Elk Ridge.

Only a suspicion about your 10 ga wire and 30 amp fuse. This may have been an aftermarket installation like electric jacks at the front of the 5er. Most other additions require less amps and smaller wire.

I'd bet 99% that your camper is wired for 12 v lighting, furnace, and water pump. The 2 batterys were installed so that the camper could power the furnace fan and electronic ignition through an entire night without running out of 12V. This is very common. But one battery will do the job if you have an electric cord (120V) to hook up to. The batteries are wired in parallel.
