primer bulb on a tecumseh

Got a used pressure washer with a tecumseh 6hp on it.Gota new primer bulb cause the original one wouldnt work.Still nothing there with the new one.Could something be plugged?Should there be fuel in the bulb,cause there is absolutely nothing.I know the motor is good cause i put a little fuel in at the plug and it runs like a champ.
 
No fuel behind bulb. Hope you got the right bulb for it.
Its probably the main jet in the carb. plugged with varnish from old dried fuel.
 
If that carb has a float bowl on it then there is a passage way from the primer bulb down into the float area and it could be plugged up or the one from the bulb to the intake of the carb is plugged up

Depending on the engine, Tecumseh also put the primer button on the shroud and connected the two with a rubber hose. If this is that type my bet would be the hose is cracked.
