i recently overhauled my series 1 d17 gas engine, rather than 20 weight in winter and 30 weight in summer is there a better all season oil i should use?

It appears that 99.99999999% of responders to your question over the last 10 years recommend 15-40.

I'd be at least as concerned with the API rating as with the weight.......
