Does the dealer have a good background and what else does he sell no tractor is any better than the dealer. Those are very good tractors i know a dealer here in Iowa does bery well selling them has quite a few yrs with them and is well satisfied or he wouldnt still be in the business with them. There have been several off brands sold here in the area but the Mahindra seems to be doing well.

Dealer has been around awhile, but not always with Mahindra. He started out selling salvaged parts, then used tractors and has grown over the years. I think he will be around. I've bought parts from him, but never any equipment before. He seems to have a good business. Everytime I go by he's busy with customers and prices are fair on salvage and what new parts he sells. Price quotes on new equipment seems to be good also, but I've done little comparison with other dealers yet. Thanks for the advise.

Mahindra is known Indian military supplier with reputation for quality- disappointed customers may still have extra munitions to use to complain-that used to be licensed IHC maker of British pattern models. Some Mahindra parts are same number as old IHC and used by the former IHC dealers. Decent reputation for quality control and reliability, good prices on what used to be the B250, B275, B414/454 models. Some of newer models are sort of compatable, joint development with Britis McCormick, others are Mahindra only developements. Usually considered good values. RN

Franzen at Monmonth, IA. ???? HE is a great guy but he has limited service. His wife has been battling the big C for a while. As for the Mahindra tractors: If you are a weekend warrior then they will work fine. If you are a serious farmer and use them everyday then they are marginal on holding up. Cattle guy up the road has one and he keeps the front MFWD axle torn up all of the time. He is rough but his JD 2955 and CIH 685 have held up for the most part. All MFWD with loaders.
