Look up antique tractor shed on there if you havent already, you will find a bunch of people from here. I am the moderator there :)

Yes, I follow a lot of my tractor friends on facebook. But I don't see any DeltaRed. Do you post under your given name? I post as Nebraska Cowman. Shoot, I answer the phone that way.

Facebook is for teenage girls or adult men who are looking to hook up with some old girlfriends from high school and cheat on their wives.

I am on there too a easy way to keep in touch with old and new friends. Good place to put some pics of old tractors too. My profile pic is me in front of my old working clothes F-30 with a No2 subsoiler behind.

I'm with you.

I had Facebook for a while, and cancelled it. I don't WANT the entire world to know every little detail in my life.

Plus whenever you post something, it's in front of the entire world forever. Anything you post can come back to haunt you years from now. Say you have a bad day, maybe not even your employer's fault, but you vent by mean-mouthing your employer because you have to blame somebody. Several years from now, you apply for a new job. Guess what your prospective new employer is going to check.

im on there, i havent had any real issues, but i have limited my "friends" to people i actually know personally, i never accept any "kids" other than my own,my reasons is i feel that is where the majority of viruses and other trouble starts with either unsupervised kids, or a kid picks up a virus from another site and it gets transfered to me thru them, besides when i see a 24 year old girl wanting me as a friend, my first thought is why? no little girl in her right mind would want a fat, grumpy old fart like me unless she either wants money or to spread something like a virus

What privacy concerns? There is nothing on face book you can't get out of the local phone book!

I'm glad we have facebook. I've been able to catch up with allot of old friends and faces on it and enjoy checking in on it every morning.

I don"t do facebook. Any one of my family members, friends, etc, I"ll talk to one-on-one in person, on the 'phone, e-mail, etc. I don"t need to write on an electronic wall and have them come by and read it later. Real life (including one-on-one communication) takes up the best part of my time, don't need a virtual one.

I love it ! what a great way to keep in touch with distant relatives,,and find ones you never knew . I have found several old photos of my grand parents and the home farm I had never seen . You get to choose who see's your info ,and only what you alow to be viewed .

face book is ok in a nice world ,
i monitor it , my kids are on there a bunch , from what i have seen ...it gets ugly when a divorce occurs and hanky- panky is traced thru the facebook , or if someone bullies or fueds with others , not a pretty site then ,,
