we got to cut hay today in Ohio

:lol: well it been quite a rainy spring did not think I would ever be able to get my first cutting in , the ground dried up pretty good and I cut it down today ,breezy mid 80s today sunshine in the forecast :lol:

Hope this years hay is better than last year the timothy just came to a head last year it turned to seed before I could cut.

Mike this will be my fourth year on this hay field last year I put fertilizer and some lime down it really come up nice this spring ,the wind has been blowing all day 85 degrees drying out real nice will be using the tedder the next couple days to get it dry. no rain until tuesday :lol:
 

Mike thats for sure :D it seems right after I cut they change the forecast

Looks good , I cut my first of the yr. today about 15 acres of alfalfa and the ground was still alittle wet in a few spots . S.E. Indiana , tedder in the morning then gota go to granddaughters preschool graduation , BIG STUFF !!
 
Thanks; around here we only grow Bermuda for our horse/cow hay. I have heard some good things about timothy and alfalfa, but no one I know has ever tried it.

Got most of ours on the ground also in SE IN. probly got 15 acres bailed already and got another 20 cut today with 5 ready to bail tom tha got cut the other day. Is it bad I already don't wanna see another hay bail until it has to be fed this winter??? lol
 
Well day 2 drying out nice hit it with tedder today do it again tommorrow calling for chance of rain late saturday I love it when they always change the weather daily
