Hi there.Today, I was ready to start cutting hay and as soon as I engaged the pto I heard a big bang and a noise that I will describe as a spline slipping. When the mower is flat, only the first disc will turn. On raising the mower straight up all will turn. I parked it and will call the dealer in the morning.The first disc being the one nearest the tractor wheels.I thinking maybe a shaft is stripped? It is built in sections. Any of you guys have any ideas? Thanks in advance. RON

I'd say you stripped the short hex shaft between the first two modules. Not hard to fix, and your dealer should have the parts.
