The wife and I and our son and his girlfriend went to the flea market at Burley Park in Howard City Mi yesterday. WOW! Absolutely the biggest one I've ever been to. We got there at 10:30am and it took us til 3:15pm just to walk through the whole thing. Some of the vendors were packing up and leaving by the time we got through it.
I bought a refrigerator drawer full of half inch bolts for $3,a complete drill index for 15. Really got hosed on a pair of work boots though. Gave $10 for a pair of Wolverines,looked like new,fit like a glove and super comfortable. I took'em out to the truck,put'em on when I got home,walked out the back door,took about 20 steps and the wife started laughing behind me. I could feel myself getting lower and lower. The heels literally disintegrated! I don't mean fell apart in pieces,I mean they turned to powder. I was leaving little piles of black dust every step. By the time I got back up to the door the souls were doing the same thing! Oh well,can't win'em all.
I think we started a new Memorial Day tradition though. That was just TOO much fun.
