Not in my area, Charlie.

Good looking alfalfa. I rarely see alfalfa in my area anymore.

I'd like too, the orchard grass looks great, and I hate to see
the reed canary get to mature, but the ground is to wet and u
never know when we will get showers!

Only thing stopping me is strong threat of T'storms Weds. night. After that it is supposed to be good through Sunday. The ground was too wet until today, and tomorrow is supposed to be mostly clouds

Been hitting it hard. My alfalfa is pretty common this time. The grass hay part is way behind in maturity. It should have turned out 70 rolls and made 40. Cut 16 acres Friday and about that much Saturday. Cut and swath close, let the ground dry out, tedder the next day, rake the next, flip the next. Just cant hardly get a dry spot to work. Its been 4 days since the last rain and Im still leaving tracks in the fields.

mowed about 7 acres yesterday, tedded today and gonna bale tomorrow afternoon. 90s last 2 days sure wish I'd mowed another 20 or so acres. Only 30% chance for Wednesday so I think I'll drop some more tomorrow. Finally some decent weather here in S.E. Ohio. Keith

I have not mowed any hay here yet. The rains have been too close for me. I feed it to beef cows and steers. I can take mature better than wet. I feel for the dairy guys that need real good hay this year. Most of then around me usually chop first crop anyway though.

I did mow the yard yesterday and it looked like hay field. LOL Stuff was over a foot tall in places. The rains the last ten days just made getting it done a no go. I will rake it tomorrow. I will let the steers have the clippings. They go nuts over them.
