machine shops near S. Ohio

Howdy,

I wondered if anyone on here knew of machine shops in the southern Ohio/northern Kentucky area that could handle boring out a John Deere R block? Thanks and God bless.

You might check the NAPA shop in Jackson,Oh.,they did do a lot of engine(tractor-off road)work(block-crank)They did do very fine work,but I have heard some lately not totally happy????If you don't find anyone,you could check at least.I'am not recommending them but they did a lot of good pulling engines.Your risk and good luck.
 
Marietta Ignition in Marietta, Ohio does alot of machine shop work. They may be able to help with your project. keith

Still there???? Used to be able to get anything and everything from them.
 
There is a small machine shop located with the Smythe Auto store at the corner of OH 132 and OH 131 in Milford...

Also try Huck Machining in Eastgate (Ohio 32- off of old 74) area part of the KOI Autoparts store.
