found a G1050 a friend had so i will try to see what i can do with that. We had to pull start it because there was no batteries in it she fired up and i drove it home about a 15 mile trip all the gauges seem to work the steering was a little iffy she burned fairly clean the cab is missing the door and there is a couple of windows missing so the cab was full of leaves but i made it to the shop with no trouble. i dropped the oil right away and changed the fuel filters air filter was clean put a battery in it but the starter is burnt out cant get a starter until wednesday it is may long weekend nothing open until tuesday but no rush because it rained like crazy the day i got it home takes a long time to dry in this greywooded soil we have up here. I fired up the stemer and washed off many years of grease oil and dirt took the washer in the cab to and wiped out the leaves and dust to make room for new dust. You may think im crazy for playing with this old stuff but that is what im doing is just playing. I took some pics and I will try to figure out how to put them in here. I really like hearing from you guys so tell me good things or bad things about the old mini just tried to find my pics cant find them will send them later

You must be exited, you punched the same post 4 times! Those Minnies are the luggin'est things on the planet.Heck it could probably pull the whole planet!Good luck with it. Steve <):^)

they are a good smooth riding field tractor due to the long wheel base. i had a 97 massey which is a minni and i liked it, even that deep throated exhaust sound. just like sitting in a cadillac, compared to the 930 case that was the roughest riding tractor ever with its short wheel base.

dont know what happened with the post i guess i got trigger happy sorry about that wanted to write about the mini last nite but are internet was down i think i figured out how to do the pics thing i want to show you a pic of a massy 55 i had done this winter

Have you started tearing down the 1206 yet? Get the 1206 repaired and you would have a mighty-fine pair of good running tractors!! Armand

Only 500 or so G-1050's were made with diesel engines. That is a somewhat rare tractor. Even less than that with the white nose front. No way to know how many are still in running condition. They were made from 1969-1971. The old minnie's were famous for unbelieveable amounts of torque / pulling power. If restored that model can bring a healthy price at an auction. You have an investment as well as a classic farm tractor.
